Our priorities in Hungary
We would like to see our country becoming more and more similar to European countries that are richer and happier than us – and at the same time, we also want our country to have a fair share in influencing the future of the European Union.
Before we can start talking about how we could make Hungary an even better place, the country's democratic functioning must be first restored – as no better social system than democracy has been invented so far to govern a happy country.
For the proper functioning of our democracy it is essential that the various social groups in our society can agree on a common ground. And for this, we need to be able to discuss our common issues, while respecting the other's opinion and engaging in a civilized debate with the other's arguments.
If nothing else, there is one thing that certainly connects us: we file the same tax declarations. Let's build on this and establish a coalition of taxpayers agreeing on the minimum we can expect from our current government - even if we have wildly different worldviews.
Just as you brush your teeth every day, you should actively and continuously make efforts to be able to live in a better place tomorrow. This why it would help restore democracy if you also joined a political party that is closest to your world views.
